FINANCE MANAGER/CONTROLLER
Duties will include:
•Quarterly and annual preparation of Guatemala GAAP and US GAAP financial statements in compliance with local statutory and worldwide consolidation requirements.
•Preparation of monthly financial reporting for management and corporate office.
•Establishing and maintaining internal controls including being able to pass a SAS 70 Type II audit.
•Managing all aspects of our Oracle system including data entry, reconciliation and reporting for G/L, A/P and fixed assets and coordination with systems team on updates
•Establishing the annual operating plan and quarterly updates to this plan.
•Liaison with external auditors, tax accountants and other service providers.
•Liaison with government officials and other local regulatory agencies.
•Coordination with US and India finance staff to optimize workflows and meet deadlines
Education and Skills
•Requires BA/BS degree in accounting, finance, economics, math, or comparable. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred. MBA or advanced degree a plus
•Fluent English/Spanish language skills required
•5-8 years work experience in accounting and finance required
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with multiple functional areas across the business
•Superb attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast paced and dynamic environment
•Previous Oracle experience preferred, but not required
